The Avinash Seva Pratishtan is a not-for-profit Volunteer Social Welfare Organization that was established 30 years ago with the ideology to ensure health, educational, cultural, technological and agricultural development bringing justice to the poor, oppressed and downtrodden tribal community in different parts of India. We involved the local community through a well-planned comprehensive Health, Education, Water conservation, environment protection, disaster preparedness, and agricultural programs. We have carried out extensive work in Kalahandi, Balangir, and Koraput (KBK) especially in the field of Poverty Alleviation, Education, Health, and Women Empowerment programs.
The organization was established by Educationist and Philanthropist Dr. Debendra Nayak and Famous Freedom Fighter Late Ganeshwar Sahu in 1990 and registered the organisation in 1991, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in the K-B-K area [Koraput Balangir and Kalahandi –Considered one of the poorest among the poor area in India] that had been devastated by poverty, Illiteracy & Blind faith. In 1996, his wife Mrs. Bhaktimala Das (Nayak) joined him pledging to contribute her life in service of poor tribal people. At present the organization operates a Children’s Hostel, a Day Care Center, a Malaria Dictation Center, a pathology laboratory, a free of cost tuition center, a General Health Care Center, and an Animal Husbandry Firm in Orissa. The organization also carried out numerous health and awareness programs in more than 30 districts and in different states.
